UNF <3 Juvente!

Yeah, it’s so sad, but true!

Sobertrip Part 2 has now comed to an end! The week has been amazing and I’m so thankful for all the people we’ve met, the things we’ve learned from each other, but most of all I’m thankful for UNF. ‘Cause without UNF this project never would have happened! So I’d like to take this moment to thank the districts’ who’ve helped Sobertrip with money! Thank you:

UNF Göteborg

UNF Halland

UNF Dalarna

UNF Västerbotten

UNF Stockholm

UNF Skaraborg

and of course the national board of UNF!

Thank you all for your genourosity! I can never tell you what this project means for me, for my fellow arrangers and for the participants! This is UNF at its best!

I’d also like to thank Isabella, Ida and Anneli who helped me with the planning of the trip! They deserve as much “thank yous” as I’ve gotten! I’d also like to thank Max and Juvente once more for their wonderful atmosphere and friendship! Thank you guys, we love you!

Last but not least, I’d like to thank all of the participants! You deserve the biggest of all the “thank yous”! Without you, Sobertrip wouldn’t have happened! So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

This was all for now! But hopefully, we’ll update this blog soon again! For Sobertrip doesn’t end just ’cause this journey has comed to an end! So keep you eyes opened, maybe next trip will happen sooner than you think ;D

Here’s the last video blog, from Nadja Andersson this time!

Sobertrip day 8!

Hi there!

Today, Sobertrip and Juvente went to the DASA museum. It’s a museum about the working place in Germany, today and yesterday, so to speak. You got to try a lot of things as well, experiments and such. They had this really cool streetcar too! I love streetcars! After that, we went back to the castle and after a while, we went to the city of Schwerte. There we did a street action where we played Big Fat Ponny and Samurai. This to get attention to Juvente.

This evening, it’s Joel Berglund’s turn to tell you about the day!

Sobertrip day 7 – Juvente’s Congress

Day 7! Time just flies by here! It’s so peaceful. The surroundings, weather, atmosphere… This place is great. Too bad that it can’t last forever. I don’t think there’s a single Swede looking forward to going back home to the cold and grey. Or to the everyday life for that matter.

Today, the participants had two choices. One, sit through the Juvente Congress, or two, do whatever you feel like! Me and a couple of other people went on a small hike up to the castle ruins this morning, then we went to the city of Schwerte to explore it. Very interesting and I must say that I really like the German people. They’re so polite, always greeting you when you pass them by! It’s so sweet!

This evening, Joakim Book Jönsson will tell you how it was to be at the Juvente Congress! So check it out and we’ll be in touch tomorrow again!

Sobertrip day 6 – Hiking for 6 hours?!

Sobertrip is on it’s 6th day! Time just flies by when you’re having fun!

Today, the majority went on a hike from the camp to the city. It took them six hours and they were all finished when they arrived! I’m so glad that I didn’t. I wouldn’t have had any feet left by now if I did! The once that didn’t were at my workshop about International Solidarity or just chillaxed in the sun. Then we all went to the Westfalenpark which is a beautiful park AND a HUGE playground! It was awesome!

Now the Swiss people and more German have arrived and it really is a full house! Today Hilma has entered the stage! Check it out!

Sobertrip meets Tough Daddy!

Howdy!

It was a cold and long night for most of the participants. Tenting wasn’t the best idea. But after night, the day came and everyone went to the amusement park Movie Park outside of Dortmund. It’s been a long and wonderful day full of laughs and rides, both windy and wet! Some of us also got to meet the bad guy Tough Daddy in the action stunt show!

Today, it’s Ylva Karlsson Höberg’s turn to tell the story. So this is the story of day 5!

Sobertrip, the amazing day 4!

Hi y’all!

Today we’ve been having a get-to-know-each-other-day! It’s been so warm and totally amazing! No one’s wearing their jackets and we all regret that we didn’t bring any sunscreen!  I even got some color, unwanted, but still!

After that I talked about the Image of Alcohol, it was a presentation of the alcohol commercial today. After that Gabriella held some team-building games and we had a lovely time in the sun! We also put up our tents, three tents with about 4 people in each.

Today it’s Amanda Axelsson Duarte telling you of her experience! Check it out below!

Sobertrip, Part 2 -Day 3

Hi again!

Yesterday there was suppose to be a videoblog, but we forgot! But yesterday we went to an awesome park and took a lot of photos of the surroundings. And we got the most amazing breakfast at Max’s place! Fresh raspberries, croissants and strawberries! So good and he’s an amazing host!

Today me and Lisa’s been at the house where the camp is taking place, and we’ve been here pretty much all day. It’s been lovely weather and I’ve been lying in the sun in the grass. But here’s one of the participants for UNF, arriving with the bus, telling you how that was and her view of Sobertrip!
